Privacy policy

We ask you for:

• Your name, so we know whose order it is
• Your mobile number, so we can reach you if something is wrong with your order or your pickup time
• Your pickup day and time, and what you ordered
• Any note you choose to leave us

Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own checkout page. Your card number, Apple Pay and Google Pay details never reach our servers and we never see them. Stripe collects your email address there to send your receipt.

We receive your name, email address, your message, and your phone number if you chose to give one. It is emailed straight to Hannah and answered by a person.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are not a bot. Cloudflare receives your IP address to do that check. We also briefly note your IP address to limit how many messages can be sent in a short window, which is what stops the form being used for spam.

We do not send marketing texts, and we do not add you to any texting list. When an order comes in, an alert goes to the owner’s own phone so she knows what to prepare and when you are collecting it. That message goes to her, not to you.

If we ever contact you by text it is about your specific order, at the number you gave us for that order.

Only the services that make the site work. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

• Stripe — takes payment and sends your receipt
• Amazon Web Services — hosts the site and delivers our email
• Cloudflare — our domain and the spam check on the contact form

Order records stay in Stripe, which we use to look up past orders and handle refunds. Contact messages stay in Hannah’s email inbox. This site does not run its own customer database, and it does not use analytics or advertising trackers.

Little Folk is a business for families, but the ordering side of this site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Some payment records have to be kept for tax and accounting reasons even after a deletion request, and we will say so if that applies.
